Well it took me over 5 hours, but I finally painted the trim in my girls’ room. Don’t ask me why I didn’t paint it when we first redid their room back in January 🤦🏻‍♀️
It’s such a good feeling to finally see a vision come to reality. When we moved in our house 5 years ago I could see so much potential. I knew eventually we would remodel our fireplace and get hardwood flooring throughout. And here we are! We remolded the fireplace in December. Check out my fireplace highlight if you’d like to see our process. And swipe to see the before!
It’s so weird seeing our homeschool room bare! It’s been like this for over a month though 🙈

Happy Father’s Day to our favorite guy! He is such a good daddy and loves being a girl dad. He works so hard to allow me to stay home with our girls. He’s always traveling for work throughout the week. And today he is spending Father’s Day renovating our bathrooms and helping to move things to the basement to prepare for new flooring in our house this week. Thank you for loving us girls so well and for all your hard work. Happy Father’s Day to all of the hardworking, loving daddies out there!
While we were on vacation in Florida my oldest daughter Emma developed an allergic reaction. She had hives all over her body and swelling in her lip, hands, and feet. We took her to an urgent care and she was put on a steroid, Benadryl, and another histamine blocker twice a day for 5 days. We had assumed after she finished her medication she would be in the clear. But the hives didn’t go away. She also started to develop swelling and pain in her ankle and couldn’t walk. We took her to the pediatrician and they took a urine sample to rule out any viral or bacterial infections. It came back clear. She also got an X-ray to check for any breaks or fractures because she was in a lot of pain. The X-ray was normal. So she saw an allergist this morning to talk about what the trigger could have been and whether or not she would need allergy testing or blood work done.
