It’s been a couple of years since I’ve done a gift guide. I thought it would be a good idea to make some this year since my girls are now a teen and tween. Some of the items on the gift guide they already have or I’m getting them for Christmas this year. There’s also things that I just think would be fun!

Teen Girl Stocking Stuffer Ideas
All of these ideas are under $20. By no means am I telling you to buy them all! These are just suggestions if you’re unsure of what to get your teen/ tween daughter. Also a lot of these are on sale right now!

Lip Gloss Set
My girls love hair and beauty products. But I don’t want them to go deep into makeup just yet. They both have tinted lip balms but I thought it would be fun to get them some clear lip gloss. Olivia picked out this set.
Hair Accessories
My girls love scrunchies! These satin hair scrunchies are perfect for keeping bumps out of the hair. And these hair ties are gentle on hair and help prevent breakage.
Hair Perfume
I am actually not a fan of perfume in general. I’m pretty sensitive to smells and don’t like many. But my girls are very interested in perfumes. We saw this hair perfume in a local shop recently and smelled them. It actually smells so good! It’s a subtle enough scent where it won’t be overpowering.
Gel Nail Strips Kit
My girls actually already have this gel nail strips set. They love it! I love the nail strips because it’s such a time saver. And both of my girls can do their own nails with little help. The starter kit is great because it also comes with the LED light. If you already have one you can also just buy the gel nail strips. There are so many pretty colors!
Hair Accessories Bag
My girls saw these cute hair accessories bag in Target and loved them. It comes with a scrunchie and hair clip. The bag is soft and quilted and perfect for holding hair accessories when traveling.
Satin Pillowcase
I have this satin pillowcase to help keep my hair free from breakage while sleeping. Both of my girls always say how much they also want one. So I thought it would be a perfect stocking stuffer!
Cozy Socks
We saw these cozy socks in Target and they are SO soft! Both of my girls said how they would love them in any color!
Markers
My girls love markers of any kind! I thought these colorful markers would be perfect for journaling or drawing.
Jewelry
I always like to get my girls some jewelry to put in their stockings. They both love all things bows. The earrings and necklace have pearls on the bows and it’s just darling!
Travel Jewelry Box
My girls already have a small travel jewelry box that I got them last Christmas. But this one is SO cute!

Teen Girl Gift Guide
I thought it would be difficult to find things for teen girls to put in a gift guide since they don’t really play with toys much anymore. Cue the tears. But it was actually easy and a lot of fun! I wanted to find things that could help foster creativity and some fun things that I know my girls would love. And again, I’m not suggesting you buy everything on this list. It’s just some suggestions.

Alcohol Markers
First on the list is alcohol markers. I got some for my girls last Christmas and they LOVE them! Since my girls now have their own rooms, Emma has them in her room and Olivia has requested to have her very own set in her room. So I’ll be buying these for her. Along with this marker organizer.
Jewelry
I’ve always gotten my girls jewelry as gifts for Christmases and birthdays. Now that they are older and they’re able to take care of their jewelry I can get them nicer options. For Emma’s 13th birthday this year I got her this beautiful heart necklace and earrings. She loves it so much!
Warmies
Have you ever heard of Warmies? They are plushies filled with weighted lavender scented flaxseed that can be warmed in the microwave or chilled in the freezer for therapeutic comfort. They come in a variety of adorable stuffed animals. I got my girls a bear and a puppy last Christmas. They both saw these heart warmies and said they would love them too.
Bluetooth Speaker
Both of my girls have these Bluetooth speakers in their rooms. They’re small and look so cute on a shelf! My girls use their tablets to play the music through the speakers.
Record Player
We have a record player in our living room and use it almost daily. There’s just something about listening to music on a vinyl record that’s so comforting. I know Emma would love her own record player in her room to listen to all of her Twenty One Pilots vinyls! I thought this record player was so pretty! And there are lots of color options too.
Crochet Kit
Woobles are the perfect gift for the girl who loves to craft and wants to try something new. We do a lot of crafts in our home but one thing I don’t know how to do is crochet. These kits come with everything you need including videos that show you exactly how to crochet! There are so many cute sets!
Jellycat Amuseables
I’ve been buying Jellycat bunnies for my girls for years. The brand has been making the sweetest, softest plushies for decades. Now they have an adorable line called Amuseables. They’re basically plush food, drink, or objects with faces and arms/ legs. And I don’t know what it is about putting a face and legs on inanimate objects that are so cute, but they’re adorable! There are so many different options to choose from. But I’ve noticed they do sell out quickly! I think these marshmallows are adorable. Also this cloud is just way too cute!
Instant Camera
Instant cameras are so fun for capturing memories. My girls love their instant cameras I got them several years ago. Unfortunately they no longer make them. This Fujifilm Intax Mini is a great option and it comes in so many cute colors!
Games
My girls love playing games. Last year I started buying these Vintage Bookshelf Games. They’re regular games we all know and love but they’re packaged in book like boxes. They just look so pretty on a shelf! They’re a little pricey so I usually just buy one at a time for Christmases and birthdays. These Hearth and Hand with Magnolia edition bookshelf games are so lovely!
Skincare
I don’t really think tweens/ teens need skincare, but I’m all for a gentle cleanser and moisturizer. I got my girls this last Christmas and they have been using it everyday and love it.
Pens
Both of my girls love drawing with lots of different types of pens. I always like to get them a new set of pens at Christmas because more often than not their pens from last year have already dried up because they use them so much! This set of Le Pens pastel pens are so pretty!
Legos
My girls don’t play with too many toys anymore, but thankfully they still love and play with Legos. They are obsessed with these 3 in 1 creator kits. Last year I got Emma the roller skate that also turns into a boombox or skateboard. She loves it so much. Now they have this record player, telephone, typewriter, and camera. This happy plants botanicals isn’t a 3 in 1 but it is one of the cutest things I’ve ever seen. Again with the faces on inanimate objects, SO cute! Olivia has it on her wishlist this year.
Belt Bag
These belt bags are so popular right now. They come in so many colors. My girls and I all have black ones as they’re the most versatile in my opinion. They’re the perfect size for holding daily essentials.
Water Bottle
I got my girls new water bottles this year. Owala seems to be a popular brand right now. A lot of their friends have them. They come in so many color options and are always coming out with new styles. I love this one.
Curling Iron
I have curling irons I use on my girls hair when they want it curled. But Olivia has requested her own curling iron to style her hair. This curling iron is so simple to use! You just clamp it on to the ends of your hair then it spins around and curls it automatically! I figured this would be a great first curling iron because it’s so user friendly!
Bead Kit
If you’ve been following us for a while you’ll know my girls love to make jewelry. They’ve been making polymer clay heishi bead bracelets and earrings for years. This year we decided to try our hands at making seed bead jewelry. It’s been so much fun figuring out how to make the different patterns like daisy chains. This is the bead kit we got and it has so many pretty colors!

Teen Girl Clothing Gift Guide
Now that my girls are older, they’re more in to clothing and shoes. In the past I’ve gotten them some clothes for Christmas, but just a few things like a sweater or a pair of shoes. This year both girls have said they would love more clothes than they usually get. So we picked out a few things they love and made a gift guide for you! I’ve done a color scheme but all of these come in multiple colors! These are just my girls favorites right now.

Sweatshirts and Hoodies
My girls love wearing oversized sweatshirts and hoodies. They pretty much live in them daily. Here are some cute options:

AE Velvet Graphic Crew Neck Sweatshirt

Gilly Hicks Sherpa Zip-Up Sweatshirt
Sweaters
My girls love a cozy sweater during the winter months. As long as they’re not too heavy! They typically wear sweaters with jeans to church during the winter since it’s too cold for dresses and skirts.

Cable-Knit V-Neck Icon Sweater

Stitchy Hooded No-Close Cardigan

Girls’ Relaxed Cardigan Sweater
Leggings and Jeans
My girls live in leggings and wear them mostly everyday. They love to wear them with oversized sweatshirts and hoodies.

High Waisted Fleece Lined Ankle Leggings
The leggings come in a lot of different color options and they’re fleece lined!

AE Stretch Low-Rise Baggy Wide-Leg Jean
Emma is the only one who can wear women’s AE jeans right now. She wears the smallest size 000. I wish they had a children’s line! I’ve always loved AE jeans.

Olivia mostly wears jeans from Abercrombie Kids. They are very well made. She loves the wide leg jeans and says they’re very comfortable.
Shoes and Accessories

Koolaburra by UGG Womens Burree
These comfy clogs are very popular right now. There are a lot of different brands and color options. This is the one I’m planning on getting my girls.

Adidas Sambae Shoes in Wonder Quartz
My girls love Adidas shoes. Sambas have been around for decades! Now they have so many different color options. Olivia loves this one!

Emma wears hats a lot. She loves them! I thought this would be a cute alternative to the bright red Ohio State hats that she wears often.

Olivia doesn’t wear hats as much. But I think it’s just because she hasn’t found any cute ones she likes. Her cousin has this hat and when she saw it she said she would love to get it for Christmas.

Hopefully these gift guides gave you some ideas for your tween/ teen girls! Also remember these were just ideas. I’m not telling you to buy everything. I’m not even getting half of the things on these lists for my girls! Also if you have any other ideas please leave them in the comments! I know some things on these lists might not be things your daughter is interested in.
If you are wanting gift guides for younger children you can check out this gift guide I made a few years ago. Let me know if you would like a mom’s gift guide too! I made this one a few years ago but can update with new things if anyone is interested.
